It’s all the same, but is it really…………
I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there rather it’s having to talk on the phone, text or email. We’ve all had some experience with customer service, but what if we, as business owners, took it a step further?
(Mind you, this can be for online and brick + mortar businesses)
Communication and the experience of your clients are the main factors.
Customer service is geared towards corporations. You have an issue, you call, it gets solved and you move on about your day. Customer service seems like a revolving door.
A call comes in, said person is there for you for a mere ten minutes and moves on. Or if you go to a big box store and most of the time, they don’t even know how to answer your questions and they don’t really “see you”.
Yes, there’s some sort of communication involved, but let’s take it up a notch, raise it to a whole different level.

Oh….. This is my favorite and if you’re like me, you won’t get enough of it.
We went into business for a reason… To help and be there for others. Listen, these people who come into your space are more than just a number and we’re not the revolving door type. And to be quite honest, that gets stale, doesn’t it!? Borrrinnngggg
I’m always going to bring up communication because it’s key to the relationships you create with your clients.
(There are no relationships in customer service)
Also, communicating with your clients shows and makes them feel as if they are HEARD and SEEN; you actually care about them.
So how is client service different from customer service:

Check ins
Educating
Updates
Even a simple “Have a good day” text
Rather you’re working together or not, this all shows you care. This makes people want to have conversations with you! So imagine you’re putting this into action and your business grows because someone raved about the client service they had with you!
2. You don’t dread the random calls because you care about your clients
3. Your clients are more than just a number, more than just money.
Customer service gets you in and out fast without connections and conversations.
This is not the end, but merely an idea to improve your relationships and communicate with all! Have fun with it because you never know the great impact you’ll have on your clients.
